Overview
The Dauphin Island Sea Lab is engaged in the "pursuit of excellence in marine science education, marine research, coastal zone management policy and educating the general public." The lab is located on Dauphin Island, Alabama at the mouth of Mobile Bay along the Gulf of Mexico.
The Dauphin Island Sea Lab has an estuarium that is open to the public and features exhibits of wildlife found in nearby habitats.
