Overview

The Ozark Research Field Station is situated along Mill Creek in a valley in the Ozark Highlands of central Missouri. The nine-acre site consists primarily of ponds and other aquatic habitats, but the station is adjacent to the 300-acre Bohigian Conservation Area and 6000 acres of Mark Twain National Forest. The surrounding lands are primarily hills covered in deciduous forest. The Ozark Research Field Station was established in 2017.
