Overview

Simonson Biological Field Station is located on the shores of De Gray Lake between Hot Springs and Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Habitats on the station are primarily mixed forest, with some small sections of prairie/wildflower gardens and small ponds.

Simonson Biological Field Station consists of a boat dock (with pontoon boat and canoes/kayaks) on the lake and a three story building with rooms for sleeping, storage, living, and dining, as well as classrooms, laboratory, kitchen, offices, and laundry facilities.
