Overview

Bull Shoals Field Station is located in southern Missouri along Bull Shoals Lake, a reservoir on the White River. The field station is within the Drury Conservation Area, 5600 acres of state-owned land, and it is adjacent to U.S. Army Corp of Engineers land.

Bull Shoals Field Station sits on steep hills covered in oak-hickory forest, post oak savanna, and glades. The area has many caves and springs, while the Drury-Mincy Conservation Area contains 20 permanent ponds and two permanent streams.

Facilities at Bull Shoals Field Station include a wet lab, classroom, outdoor shelter, garage, two residential buildings, and a weather station.
