Overview
Turtle Cove Environmental Research Station is situated in wetlands on Pass Manchac, which connects Lake Pontchartrain to Lake Maurepas. It is located in an estuarine ecosystem, and within a one hour boat ride from bottomland hardwood forests, cypress swamps, and fresh and intermediate marshes.
Turtle Cove has classrooms, lab space, lodging, and multiple boats, as well as additional equipment.
